The village of Wall has changed considerably over its short life span. Since its founding it has doubled in size and the houses of all its inhabitants have grown or changed to match.
Come and take a look.
The all new Theatre of Herodes. Built by Philrm in SMP on The World in Survival mode.
The Theatre will have plays, PVP Battles and the occasional NPC market.
The Town of Wall, is coming along nicely. Most people have moved in now with various projects going on around the area.
The Acropolis can be seen in the distance on the last picture.
I decided to have a go at making the Great Parthenon and the Acropolis upon which it is sat. I will attempt the other buildings but for now the Temple of Athena is at least complete. Unfortunately due to the limitations of Minecraft I cannot make a actual statue of Athena for her alter.
Done in SMP in The World using Minecraft 1.9 Pre-release.
More information on the Parthenon can be found here, including the floor plan I used for accuracy. I had to take some artistic license with the inside as details are quite scarce.
1.8 is live and so full of lag! It is playable on SMP if you take your time and don’t mind it breaking sometimes though.
It works enough for me to make King Snail House, home to me, Hitch.
